Sketching Skills
This was the initial step in documenting or illustrating an idea using different sketching techniques. The exercises began with basic perspective sketches of objects or groups of objects, followed by general sketches of selected parts of Al Mina city.

Cartography Skills
Cartography skills tend to empower the youths with the essential ability to understand and read maps in order to find places and to relate their photos, sketches or designs to a specific location on maps. A ‘treasure hunt’ using a paper map was the main learning method, in addition to an introductory lecture about the map components.
